Water Resources Analyst

Location: Within the Anglian Water region with regular visits to Peterborough & Cambridge offices

Salary circa £30,000

Full time 37 hours

18 months fixed term contract

What will you be doing?

You will influence our decision-making processes through liaison with stakeholders across the business to define, coordinate and analyse customer research. This will involve close liaison with internal stakeholders such as Regulation, Public Policy and Strategic Growth and the necessary investment teams. External stakeholder liaison with bodies such as other Water Companies, the Environmental Agency, Ofwat and Natural England will also be an essential part of the project management of this role.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the financial management and reporting of the Water Resources programmes and provide administration support to the Water Resources Team as required.

What do you need?

  • Experience of customer research planning and implementation

  • Proven record of appointing and managing consultants

  • Experience of assisting with regulatory reports would be an advantage but not essential

  • Negotiation skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to process and analyse multiple sources of written and numerical evidence

  • Able to determine and analyse information required and confirm understanding of it

  • Able to influence and inform others through the medium of presentation and written documents

  • Ability to coordinate financial information and analyse for efficiencies as well as reporting purposes

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to time and budget
