About the role
We are currently recruiting a Water Regulations Officer to join our busy team in Washington. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to customers in line with the latest legislation. You’ll report to the Water Regulations Team Leader and will be responsible for undertaking inspections of water supply systems generally within industrial and commercial premises in accordance with a planned inspection programme.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the promotion, education and enforcement of Water Regulations relating to private systems and monitoring of new developments and alterations of water supply systems ensuring compliance and NWL conditions of supply.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining technical reports and records using current IS systems and have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies.
Please note – This role has been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
