Job Purpose

Responsible for the performance and efficiency of the Core Water Partners within the Network Maintenance Service (NMS) contract and contracts across Water Services.

Responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Partners who provide a variety of services associated with the resolution, repair or renewal of Water Network Assets

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction of contracts, identifying opportunities for improvement in service provision, designing lean processes, and embedding a companywide Core Water vision and strategy to achieve strategic objectives and regulatory goals.
  • Ensure clear accountabilities across the Network team by working closely with leadership to define roles and responsibilities, fostering collaboration, and driving understanding of team contributions.
  • Manage key contracts, including Clean Water Repair & Maintenance, identifying efficiencies, reducing operating costs, eliminating duplication, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • customer contact management to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements, minimise service failures, and drive continuous improvement using root cause analysis and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety frameworks, review and improve systems to meet internal KPIs, and promote knowledge sharing through internal and external networks to embed best practices and thought leadership.
