Job Description

The Demand Management team are responsible for helping Affinity Water customers use water better and more efficiently.

As Water Efficiency Programme Manager, you will lead a range of initiatives to support the consumer Demand Management strategy, helping to drive down water usage and ensure we're able to meet our per capita consumption (PCC) target.

The role

This leadership role will manage the delivery of a portfolio of Demand Management projects from concept to completion. This includes ongoing initiatives plus new projects where you'll manage pilots using data driven insight.

Using your experience of leading large complex programmes, you'll provide a clear vision of the projects' objectives and lead project teams to achieve them. You'll also manage programme governance activities, develop cost estimates, schedules and key milestones, and ensure projects are delivered within budget and to agreed objectives and outcomes.

You'll work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure success in meeting one of the most ambitious targets within the water industry - reducing our customers' water use by 12.5% by 2025.

What you'll need

You'll be an experienced programme manager who's able to think strategically and translate complex concepts into delivery activity.

Experience in a Demand Management or Water Efficiency environment within the water industry is crucial as you'll bring with you a knowledge of Per Capita Consumption, Water Saving/Water Efficiency and Behavioural Change.

You'll also have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and experience of managing a team.
