This Troubleperson will report to the field staff supervisor and will work within our Network Operations team based in our Kingston, Surrey office. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.
You will attract a salary of £45,118 (Plus Shift Allowance) per annum, outer London weighting per annum and a bonus of 3%.

Job Purpose:
The position, working as part of the Kingston Area team will manage the restoration of LV supplies on the UK Power Networks LV distribution system, carrying out jointing repairs on the HV and LV cable networks. After a period of training, you will carry out the full range of Troubleperson activities including first line response and permanent fault repair work at voltages up to 33kV.
Principal Accountabilities:
Location of faults on the Distribution network
The restoration of HV & LV supplies
Test and switch on the HV & LV network - and understanding the results of the tests
Any other relevant jointing duties
Supervise excavating teams
Understand operational and 1:500 diagrams
LV and HV jointing
Use appropriate IT equipment including TDR, LV Faults sniffer and FFE equipment
Supervise a working party
Nature and Scope:
The person undertaking this role plays an important role in the safe restoration of LV & HV supplies. We are regulated by multiple guidelines, and you will be important in ensuring successful compliance with Customer Minutes Lost and Customer Interruption targets. You may work at any location within the UK Power Networks area, initially within the South East Region.
