We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Totex Investment Process Lead to join the business on a 1 year fixed term contract basis.

This wide reaching and varied role covers all business streams and strategic alliances and would suit an individual looking to take the next step in their career. Working regularly with senior stakeholders from across the business this is an excellent opportunity to expand networks and learn about new areas of the business.

The role will lead the continual improvement and development of Anglian Waters Totex Investment process and associated activities that deliver best value to customers and other stakeholders through effective, efficient, and sustainable investment decision making frameworks.


  • Identify, manage, and develop process improvement initiatives

  • Support the review of the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes

  • Communicate process changes

  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders from across business streams and delivery vehicles

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to develop the AMP7 Totex Investment Process and associated systems

  • Application of Lean principles to identify potential improvement areas

  • Leading collaborative sessions to develop process artefacts and improvements

  • Leading the development and implementation of process improvements

  • Development of performance metrics of the process

  • Development and roll out of appropriate comms / briefings relating to process changes

  • Development and execution of stakeholder engagement plans / consultation to gather feedback

  • Expert response to and advising on Totex Investment Process queries

  • Accurate and timely capture of decisions, actions, and key discussion points

  • Manage meeting agenda and associated documentation

What does it take to be a Totex Investment Process Lead?

  • Previous experience/knowledge of Totex Investment Processes

  • Project and Change Management skills

  • Lean / Love Every Minute

  • Educated to degree Level or above

  • Facilitation/workshop experience

  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office packages, especially Excel

  • Investment Systems knowledge (eg C55, TDW, SAP)

  • Proven communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Rational, analytical skills

  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a flexible, constructive attitude

  • Innovating thinker and problem solver
