About the Role

You will be working with our FTTP Surveyors & Civils Supervisors to complete Intrusive surveys on the Openreach network. This will be instrumental to ensuring a fluid build when FTTP build teams are on the network.

Key Responsibilities

As a Test Rod & Rope operative you will be reporting to the Project Manager, where your responsibilities will include; Rod Roping of Openreach ducting, locating blockages and establish clear routes, produce A55s in consultation with the Streetworks manager. You will also subduct installation to PIA/Openreach standards, deployment of TM for work sites, complete and submit all necessary documentation and comply with our Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role you will need to have an awareness and understanding of the Communications Network, hold NRSWA - Signing Lighting and guarding, be able to complete risk assessments and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices. You will also need a full UK driving license, NOPS, work well in confined spaces, have Openreach craft accreditations for working in the UG network and be results orientated, whilst maintaining the ability to meet strict quality standards.
