We are seeking a Technical Secretary to lead governance activities across the Great Grid Partnership (GGP), supporting boards, steering groups, and external engagement meetings to ensure they run efficiently and effectively.
You will coordinate meetings, manage agendas and pack production, and work closely with Enterprise Directors and the Strategic Operations Manager to ensure consistency and timely, high-quality outputs. The role requires influencing senior stakeholders to provide accurate inputs and ensuring key messages are clearly communicated across the organisation.
You will also develop and improve processes for data management, documentation, meeting coordination, and version control, while providing administrative and operational support to the Directors' Office.
Working across GGP, clients, and partners, you will ensure strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Strong organisational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage meeting logistics and drive best practice.
This role is based in Birmingham. We offer flexible hybrid working where possible. This role involves regular travel to office locations and project delivery sites/ substations, primarily within the region surrounding your contractual base location. Occasional nationwide travel may also be required, depending on project demands. Flexibility and willingness to travel are also essential.
