Here’s what you will be doing
We're looking for a Technical Bid Administrator to join our growing Bid and Design Team within our Lighting and Grid organisation. This role will provide valuable support in developing a centralised approach to bidding large highways lighting and electrical network connections projects. You will support with identifying and developing proposals from enquiry stage to contract award.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation and management of bid enquiries and documentation in accordance with the relevant procedures
- The delivery of a flexible, high quality, customer focused and cost-effective service within Highways Lighting
- Assist in identifying opportunities for strategic business growth
- Provide administrative bid and design support services for employees
- Ensuring that accurate bid and design records are maintained
- Maintain company procedures and systems under the guidance of management
- Gather and process financial, personnel, sales and operational data from staff and manual/electronic systems
- Continuously improving the way in which the bid and design team, identify, track, monitor, bid for works to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Be proactive about and take ownership of all aspects of safety, health, environmental and quality issues related to work and the impact on ourselves and others
