Supply Chain Manager
Salary – £44,0041 - £60,501 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am-17:00 Monday to Friday
Location – Home-Based (with travel across the UK)

As a Supply Chain Manager at FCC Environment, you will take ownership of all aspects of the third-party supply chain function, including managing supplier relationships, negotiating costs, overseeing compliance, and ensuring effective delivery of outsourced waste services. You will play a key role in achieving our C&I sales targets while leading and developing a dynamic team.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
• Managing the supply chain function to meet KPIs for supplier selection, cost negotiation, vetting, compliance, and contract admin
• Overseeing outsourced waste services to deliver effective and competitive solutions
• Leading the Supply Chain and Mobilisation teams to deliver high service levels
• Conducting risk assessments and environmental impact analysis for your department
• Establishing and maintaining third-party vendor relationships and monitoring supplier performance
• Managing a comprehensive supplier database and reporting spend and compliance
• Ensuring all team members and contractors are fully trained and competent
• Driving continuous improvement and recommending best practices within the waste management industry
• Leading by example in safety, quality, and environmental standards

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a driven and experienced supply chain leader with:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the waste industry, particularly in a waste broker model
• Proven experience in supplier selection, project management, and contract negotiation
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, including contract KPIs and performance management
• High-level IT and numeracy skills
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK
