Kier and its partnership with South West Water are passionate about providing an exceptional service to customers. We help to provide a high quality drinking and waste water service throughout Cornwall, Devon, Bournemouth and small parts of Somerset.

We work as part of a Framework delivering reactive repair, maintenance services, and new potable water mains installations across the regions of the South West. Whether it be responding to fix a water leak or laying a new water main for a developer site, we will be there ensuring we complete the work in a safe and timely way.

We have the opportunity for a Supervisor to work as part of the planned works mains laying workstream within the Network Service Alliance, specifically on clean water 'Developer Services' related projects. Primarily covering Cornwall and South Devon, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to technical and customer specification with a strong emphasis on meeting Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and regulation.
This role will be Mon to Fri 'planned works' but may on occasion require you to undertake standby duties or assist with weekend working as part of the reactive (repair and maintenance) workstream




What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience within a similar position, ideally within the water sector. Experience of mains laying (potable water), Developer works and water mains diversions is highly desirable. You will hold EUSR Water Hygiene Card, Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) with strong knowledge of NRSWA and HAUC Specifications.

Due to the nature of the role a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
