Solar PV Roofer

Starting salary of £32,514 (37hrs p/w) to £35,150 (40hrs p/w)
Location - Midlands and North of England
Regular travel within 90 minutes of your home address

As a Solar and Storage Roofer, you will be installing a range of Solar and Storage solutions working as part of a team in our customers' homes. We are looking for Experienced Solar PV roofers to join our growing Solutions Installation teams across the Midlands and North of England. If you're looking for a job with independence, variety, and the opportunity to help people we'd like to hear from you. You'll be home based with regular travel within 90 minutes of your home address and on occasion would be required to travel longer distances with overnight stays. Accommodation is provided with a generous food and drink allowance.

When you first start, you’ll undertake an induction programme into the ways of working in E.ON, be provided with a company van, tools, uniform, and PPE to get you on your way. Essential

• Detailed knowledge of all residential roofing materials and constructions
• Practical and technical domestic solar PV experience.
• Valid safety qualifications e.g. Working at Height training, asbestos awareness, ladder training (eg. Tetra), etc
• Practical SHEQ experience preferably in PV business
• Experience dealing with customers
• Ladder safety training
• Willingness to travel UK Wide
• Full clean UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

Desirable

• Asbestos Awareness training
• Working knowledge of DC cabling and panel testing
• QCF aligned Solar PV installation or roofer course
• Abrasive Wheel Training

Additional Information

• Applications open to advertised areas only. 
• This role involves extended periods away from home attending classroom-based training and carrying out installations as part of your field-based training which we are unable to guaranteed will be in your local area.
