Job Description

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our UK Power Network team based in the Southeast.

Location: EPN - Cambridge

Contract: Permanent, Full-time - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working to deliver deep underground power cables, overhead lines, and substation infrastructure projects for the UK Power Network Alliance. Project values typically range from £500k to £10m. This role also offers excellent opportunities to develop & progress your career.

Your day to day will include:

  • Supporting the Site Agent & Project Manager enforcing high standards across the board on site(s) to maintain safe and effective delivery.
  • Placing safety at the heart of everything you do and assisting in checking compliance with CPP, RAMS, SSoW and Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs).
  • Ensuring and maintaining quality records for the works including as-builts records ITPs and material certification and testing.
  • Assisting in the design and planning of temporary works for the projects.

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

  • Operational and commercial awareness within the civil infrastructure and utilities environment
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the power or utility sector
  • Good general Engineering knowledge and understanding
