We're looking for a Site Agent to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn Trent Water Framework.

Responsibilities
As Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the supervision of site activities and workforce on capital projects within the water industry, working on upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites with focus initially on Ludlow Wastewater Treatment works in Shropshire. You'll be key in ensuring the site achieves required project delivery objectives whilst maintaining H&S, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Your day to day will include:
- Lead a team of subcontractors to deliver the work safely without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality
- Ensure implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's and approval of supply chain RAMS plus other Safe Systems of Works, when specified, in line with Company procedures
- Input and awareness of construction programme and working alongside the project planner and Project Manager
- Delivery of site inductions, issuing of permits/forms and daily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping (e.g site diaries and quality records)
- Undertaking weekly site audits and documenting and issuing RFI's in collaboration with the project manager
- Chair site meetings and report weekly to the project manager on site progress
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if you hold:
- Extensive experience in the construction industry
- Substantial knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting
- Good knowledge in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task specific activities
- CSCS Card
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if you have:
- Experience within the water industry or another process orientated industry with a civils background and knowledge of MEICA)
- Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting
- Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering
- Experience managing subcontractors value greater than £1m
- Knowledge of NEC forms of contract
