As a Service Engineer, you will be a key player in delivering technical and cost-effective service quotations, assessing the feasibility of additional load requests, and ensuring seamless new or modified service connections on our distribution network. Your contributions will be pivotal in upholding our company's purpose, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Assessment:
- Evaluate customer-submitted Electricity Supply Enquiries (ESEs) for new or replacement services and additional load requests.
- Prepare firm quotations with terms and conditions for connections to the distribution network, optimising scale and cost within our customer charter's Key Performance Indicators.
- Load Feasibility: Assess and support customer's additional load requests, ensuring no adverse impacts on the LV distribution network.
- Project Planning: Create efficient work programs for construction industrial teams and cable laying contractors, ensuring effective scheduling.
- Contract Management: Supervise and manage contractors, ensuring compliance with JE standards and contract adherence through comprehensive monitoring and reporting.
- Fault Management: Ensure prompt repair of distribution service faults and restoration of supplies within JE security standards.
- Collaborative Research: Work closely with Senior Planning and Construction Engineers and other internal and external service providers to understand and meet current and future business needs, applying and developing research knowledge to enhance engineering and business practices.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional relationships and networks for support and continuous professional development (CPD).
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with HS&E, company procedures, Distribution Safety Rules, and industry best practices, maintaining auditable records.
- Customer Service Excellence: Strive to deliver outstanding customer service as a team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills:
- Leadership and management

Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years in electricity distribution networks (low voltage)
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or Electrical HNC (or working towards) or equivalent
- Current valid Jersey Driving License
