We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, who will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, to join the team in Hatherleigh. Your prime responsibilities will be to increase value, reduce cost and manage risk in a safe and ethical manner.
This will include ensuring cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time, provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team, which will help ensure that business targets and KPI's are exceeded, as well as preparing monthly cost/ value reports together with review of results and consideration of trends. In addition, you will be involved in physical measurements of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors, agreeing certification and payment of subcontractor accounts and implementing and complying with the contract change control procedure.
This role will also see you manage sub-contractors including sending out enquires, collating prices, comparing with tender, negotiation, order placement, agreement of account and payment. You will also be included in line management and integration of new team members. What do we need from you?
We need someone who's got previous experience in a similar role, posses an appropriate qualification and has sound commercial and business knowledge.
