Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Manager.  The successful candidate will have a track record in this field, can work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups, identify challenges and opportunities and take action to achieve financial goals, experience of coaching teams and expertise in implementing digital solutions for optimisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and own the financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Present insights to senior Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) UK Executive team, drive action and implementation of financial plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives
  • Drive clear messaging regarding performance across multiple UK and International stakeholder groups
  • Work collaboratively with Global and UK Finance teams and business stakeholders to effectively communicate planning and reporting requirements and timelines, ensuring their understanding and commitment.
  • Implement digital solutions to streamline financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coach and mentor team of two, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Lead the Internal Controls process across EIS UK Finance teams ensuring documentation, adherence to standards and sharing of best practice.
  • Finance Business Partner to the Go To Market, Strategy and Commercial teams.
  • Support and deliver cross functional initiatives, such as SAP 4 Hana implementation.

What we need from you

  • Membership of a professional accounting institute (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Proven experience in leading financial planning and reporting processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges and opportunities and drive action.
  • Expertise in digitalising financial planning and reporting processes and systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence Senior Directors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in financial planning and reporting.
  • Ideally, expertise in using financial systems including SAP and Anaplan.
