As we are at the heart of the energy transition and a vital cog in helping the country make a move towards a better future, quicker, we require you to be responsible for delivering the safe provision or Operations and Maintenance, Investment Projects or Customer Projects, with strict adherence to the appropriate regulatory and license obligations for the electricity distribution network.
What you'll be doing
You'll deliver district business plan outputs in line with financial, regulatory and business plan objectives whilst optimising return through incentive mechanisms, supporting delivery of robust communication activities to facilitate the delivery of project plans and deliverables affecting local communities, customers and stakeholders.
Tasked to ensure efficient and effective delivery of performance targets, you will also facilitate business deliverables in line with district and licence planning which is devised to minimise outages to customers.
Driving continual performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback from internal and external sources, you'll promote an exemplary safety culture, ensuring all safety legislation is implemented and delivered through all activities, and deliver a portfolio of capital investment projects and associated regulatory outputs, integrating the priorities and requirements of customer service, capital delivery & incentive mechanisms.
What you'll bring
You'll possess an engineering/professional qualification or hold equivalent experience in the delivery of complex projects which includes coordination of protection commissioning activities as well as construction and operational experience. Strong project management and output driven delivery is essential. Current UK driving licence will be required.
