Our Global Technical Services team is responsible for providing engineering and technical services to our Renewables business units.

As Senior Electrical Grid Engineer, you will hold responsibility for projects, investigations and studies, related to our UK and International operational fleets.

You will be required to liaise with our Transmission System Operators (TSO) and Distribution System Operators (DSO), providing technical support in the evaluation and design of grid integration solutions.

What you'll be doing
Responsible for the technical assessment of grid integration electrical equipment and turbine technologies, you will provide technical support to our operational portfolio of renewable generating assets, requiring you to carry out root-cause analysis studies, developing/recommending solutions and strategies to improve the availability and reliability of our assets.


What you'll bring

Degree educated in Electrical Engineering or possessing an equivalent engineering degree, you will be Chartered or working towards Chartership.

With experience of Renewables / Power Generation industries, you will possess technical knowledge of wind turbines, energy storage and solar technologies.

Being experienced in managing projects internationally from launching tendering processes through to work completion, you will hold a strong commercial understanding of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) issues to ensure pragmatic decision making.
