As a SAP Ariba Specialist you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), MM (Materials Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP Ariba solutions. You will be a SAP subject matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations to optimise processes, functionalities and improve efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultancy and advisory during all phases of initiatives to ensure solution visions are articulated and understood by project teams as well as providing a level of design assurance throughout project delivery
  • Be a trusted advisor to a range of stakeholders. Having deep functional or technical experience and mastery of SAP to provide consultancy and influence on senior business and IT leadership teams.
  • Create SAP software code or SAP system configurations and associated documentation to quality standards while also adhering to SAP best practices and policies.
  • Understand production plan, identify, and manage project design dependencies and design decisions, and provide support for identifying resource expertise based on solution complexity and design.
  • Be accountable for SAP development or SAP system configuration, ensuring that activities are implementing the quality standards as set by the customer & test teams and that identified test outputs are fed back into the development lifecycle as part of a total quality system.
  • Involvement throughout the e2e solution delivery - Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt(I&A) events generating improvement backlogs.

Skills and Experience

  • Computer Science degree or other relevant qualification

 

A long-standing SAP career and having extensive knowledge of SAP SRM, MM and EWM functionality.  Deep functional experience working with S/4 Hana and ECC systems.  Mastery, extensive knowledge, and vast working experience within SAP to include:

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • SAP certification in SRM and Ariba modules is essential.
  • SAFe agile framework and Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Proficiency of configuring and delivering SAP SRM, MM, Ariba and EWM solutions, including procurement, sourcing, contract management, and supplier collaboration.
  • Experience of business processes, best practice and integrations within SAP ERP landscape
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) standard reports and configuration
  • Experience in Workflow management and business rules
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP Process Automation / SAP BUILD would be an advantage
  • SAP Enterprise Asset Management, Concur & FieldGlass knowledge desirable.
