We are currently seeking a Resource Manager to join our North Construction team. - Managing fleet maintenance and fleet-related tasks
- Overseeing day-to-day management of Admin and Record Control Assistants
- Ensuring RCA compliance and timeliness with both Capture and DDU
- Managing SGN plant and equipment records
- Ordering materials, including PE pipe and fittings, on behalf of contractors for use
- Completing audits at contractors’ yards and on-site to ensure compliance with the storage of fittings/materials
- Managing and auditing contractors’ competencies to ensure compliance with SHE76
- Supporting the engineering manager by ensuring resource data for the depot is current and accurate
- Supporting new recruits and ensuring all the relevant permissions and accounts are created and maintained
- Managing and supporting the engineering manager and regional manager with monitoring general fatigue and occupational health
- Maintaining responsibility for four depot locations, conducting weekly depot walkarounds, and checking on stock, plant, barriers/signs, and general housekeeping
- Also managing depot support with deliveries, pick-ups, and site clearances

- Effectively manage a team in a depot environment. Therefore, some depot-based experience, as well as some supervisory experience, would be an advantage.
- Highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work.
- Committed to safety; have excellent organisation and problem-solving skills and be able to act on your own initiative to minimize or prevent anticipated problems.
- Effective communicator at all levels, within and beyond your own team.
- You will have excellent IT skills, be competent in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel, and have experience of BORIS & Maximo.
