Recently appointed as City Fibre's core partner, this exciting contract will see us providing multi-million pound planned and reactive fibre and copper network services across the South West over the next five-years. About the role
In this exciting role as a Reinstatement Operative
you will be responsible for Raker and Roller reinstating ensuring that completed works are defect free and are compliant with the Hauc handbook/Highways 23. You will carry out experience backfill and surfacing, as well as ensuring that reinstatement requests are correct and that any incorrect tasks are raised with your line manager.
To be considered for this role you will have experience of reinstating R&M and project work within the utilities or civils industry. You will understand the defects and remedial process with strong knowledge of road types and materials. Due to the nature of the role you will need to hold a full UK driving licence.
Tickets Required- NRSWA Operative ticket including the below modules:
- S1 (Signing lighting & guarding)
- S2 (Excavation in the Highway)
- S3 (Reinstatement & compaction of backfill materials)
- S4 (Reinstatement of sub-base & base in non-bituminous materials
- S5 (Reinstatement of bituminous materials)
- S7 (Reinstatement of modular surfaces in concrete footways)
