Location: Midlands: Based at Lutterworth
Business Area: Kier Utilities and Rail - Western Power Distribution

We work as part of a Framework delivering civil schemes across the regions in the Midlands, whether it be responding to fix a power shortage or replacing a main on planned works, we will be there ensuring we complete the works in a safe and timely way.

About the role
This is a unique role as this position will give you the opportunity to develop your skills to progress to project manager position within Kier.

You will be assisting the Senior Project Manager in the delivery Electricity Network improvement projects for Western Power Distribution across the Midlands. You'll be assisting in project planning and delivery, site monitoring and compliance.

Having strong organisation and communication skills are a must as you have daily liaison with sub contractors, delivery tool box talks, and get involved with Streetworks Administration.

No day will be the same in this exciting role, you'll be kept busy responding to calls from internal stakeholders, including providing the client with information to support claims for payment!

What do we need from you?

In order to be successful in this role you will need strong communication, organisational and time management skills, knowledge and some understanding of the New Roads and Street Works Act and processes. IT literacy is a must as you'll be using several different systems, a general willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible.
