Description
We're excited to announce an opportunity to join our innovative Capital Projects team as a Project Administrator, where you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our ambitious Capital Programme focused on advancing initiatives at JE!
As a Project Administrator, you'll provide essential support to ensure our energy-focused projects are managed effectively, aligned with the JE Capital Project Team's methodology, and contribute to our drive toward a sustainable future.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to prepare invoices, develop cost estimates, schedule critical meetings, and support the coordination of projects that directly impact our journey towards a more sustainable future.
You'll also assist in monitoring project progress, ensuring all aspects are aligned and ready for construction, and playing a critical role in delivering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate Across Teams: Conduct research to provide valuable insights and support to various teams and departments, contributing to the success of our initiatives.
- Stay Organised and Proactive: Handle essential administrative tasks, including preparing invoices, creating accurate estimates, and coordinating schedules to keep projects running smoothly.
- Drive Project Success: Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring every milestone is on track and aligned with our sustainability goals.
- Be a Trusted Support: Take on tasks assigned by Project Managers with efficiency and enthusiasm, always ready to step in and deliver results.
- Adapt and Contribute: Embrace additional responsibilities assigned by Project Managers, ensuring they are completed with care, order, and precision to support the broader mission.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Organisational excellence: Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail: Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring energy projects meet compliance and sustainability standards.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate with teams and external collaborators.
Desirable but not essential:
- Qualifications: Relevant training or certifications, such as APM, or similar project qualifications, are highly desirable.
- Energy sector experience: Familiarity with energy projects, sustainability initiatives, or infrastructure development is a strong plus.
- Proven experience: At least 1 year in a project environment or similar role, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
