We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse and experienced production team as a Production lead at our Rickmansworth site.
The Role:
The Production Lead provides leadership and technical expertise across Water Production operations and actively manages and develops the team in their area. The Production Lead has ownership of their area, working with the front line teams (process/mechanical and electrical), whilst providing problem solving through their expertise and collaborating with key stakeholders. Accountable to identify and deliver outcomes for Maintenance, Water Quality, H&S, Compliance and drive a positive culture within the team to deliver performance commitments and key performance indicators.
Principal Accountabilities:
Leadership:
- Lead and take full accountability of all of the front line teams, Maintenance and operational delivery
- Accountable for ensuring strong Water Quality, health, safety, environment, security and well-being culture.
- Work collaboratively with the Planning Delivery Manager role to ensure the Maintenance plan is delivered.
- Collaboration with colleagues, local management team and key stakeholders to deliver key projects and asset improvements, proactively address emerging problems, challenge peers and influence solutions to prevent impact to operations, and drive efficiencies.
- Be a positive, visible leader with a business mindset that identifies and implements solutions
People:
- Accountable for the development and competency of the front line teams in their area.
- Provide technical training to the front line teams and mentoring, ensuring competency is met by the team
- Provide support and cover for other regions during incidents, and to cover for periods of absence.
- Drive technician performance and empowerment
- Provide visible supervision to the team through area initiatives and inspections.
Technical:
- Deliver the Maintenance plan, ensuring that Statutory, Regulatory & Compliance work is completed on time
- Drive a lessons learnt culture using root cause analysis tools
- Create a culture of high site standards & quality of work, improving site performance and sharing best practice
- Identify and facilitate initiatives across the area, to drive continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Deliver work at pace, following the outage process, produce Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Ensure all work is delivered under a SSoW, complying with Regs & company standards
- Support the delivery of capital schemes and capital maintenance within the Area within agreed timescales.
- Member of Duty Production Lead standby rota. Provide Bronze' level support during incidents and emergencies.

This role will consist of a one stage interview process, 1hr 30 minutes.
As part of the interview process, you will be asked to provide a short 10/15 minute presentation. The details will be given via the Talent Acquisition Partner for this role when confirming shortlisting for this position.
Benefits include:
- Salary: £56,000 - £60,000
- Hours of work: Operational - 08:00am - 16:00pm (Monday - Thursday) 08:00am - 15:30pm (Friday)
