Description
We are seeking a committed Product Developer for commercial energy services to drive new B2B products and services. Responsibilities include crafting product strategy, collaborating with commercial teams, and aligning features with business objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills and expertise in energy technologies, along with the ability to launch innovative, customer-focused, and profitable products through team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product strategies tailored for energy technologies
- Lead ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative energy products and services
- Define product roadmaps and schedules in collaboration with technical and business teams
- Analyse market trends and competitive conditions, positioning the product effectively
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of accurate product documentation
- Coordinate and steer the product development process, ensuring compliance with budget, scope, and project timelines
- Work closely with customer-facing teams to ensure product features are developed to fit customer need
- Cultivate positive relationships with collaborators and external partners to support product development
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Considerable track record as a Product Developer or Manager in a utility or energy-related sector, specifically with firsthand experience in B2B solutions
- Robust understanding of energy technologies, energy services, and related technologies
- Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to think creatively
- Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Energy Technology, Engineering or related field is highly desirable
- Proven track record of directing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Agile project management certification is a plus
