ScottishPower's Customer Business are hiring a Product Co-ordinator to support the development and growth of clean green heating products within Smart Solutions. Smart Solutions focusses on low carbon renewable technology to support residential customers and commercial clients decarbonise..

Reporting to the Commercial Development Manager, you'll support the full life cycle of the approval process in support of new/enhanced propositions that drive the decarbonisation of heat, facilitating Smart Solutions and Customer Business growth.

What you'll be doing

As a Product Co-ordinator, you'll coordinate development plans and initiatives for new or enhanced propositions and support the research, data analysis, development, business case, procurement processes and commercial discussions and actions across all market segments for Smart Heat; including presentation and securing new contracts with strategic partners..

You'll be responsible for

  • Support development of propositions through to customer delivery including proposals, contracts; installation scheduling and customer management. 
  • Monitoring of product performance and associated KPIs.
  • Interface across the business to progress implementation of product and service enhancements.
  • Ensure revenues and costs are in line with forecasts.
  • Communicate development, implementation plans and processes to business stakeholders, influencing where necessary to ensure successful delivery and escalating issues as they arise.
  • Input to and create business modelling scenarios that include sales, investment, costs, revenues and margins.
  • Research and understand competitor intelligence and communicate to delivery teams.
  • Create and manage governance documentation.
  • Support making recommendations on market analysis such as trends, customer and competitive behaviour, supply chain issues and opportunities etc.

What you'll bring

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about all things connected with the electrification of heat; including heat pumps, heat networks and net zero homes. You'll be a commercially aware individual who can demonstrate analytical thinking, be able to solve complex problems and be excited to come on this journey with us.

Experience in project management including building detailed project timescales, propositions and administration skills. Some knowledge of customer experience improvement, IT systems and commercial agreements.

Those with heat pump industry experience desirable but not essential.

Experience at an operational level in development is essential and an appreciation of the development and implementation issues in relation to products and services is a nice to have. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and you will have excellent presentation and written reporting skills.

You'll be an effective communicator, able to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organisation and have a track record of managing multiple processes simultaneously.
