Job Description

Our Planners are business critical - without them our teams on the ground can't perform their key worker roles.

We have a new opportunity to join our friendly team in Sunderland, working closely with our client NPG, to deliver a detailed, fully resourced and optimised work programme.


Plan and optimise all agreed work activities for an allocated team.

Update and maintain the contract programme and ensure work activities are on track, providing regular programme updates to the Resource and Planning Team Leader.

Be the first point of contact for Site Agents, providing first call resolution to any programme issues.

Process and submit any Traffic Management, footway, road closures, notice and permit requests required for allocated jobs.

Monitor the work activities from inception to completion, including the raising and closure of notices and permit requests.

Attend weekly planning meetings with the Site Agent and Project Managers

If you have related experience, working in a fast paced environment where you assess and make quick decisions, great organisational skills, enjoy dealing with lots of different people - then the answer is YES and we would love to hear from you.  NB Computer literacy and being customer oriented are a pre-requisite
