About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Planners to join our busy team in Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an efficient plan to enable our water and sewerage teams to maintain the networks. The team influence our performance against a number of key operational performance targets including; Interruptions to supply, leakage and sewer flooding.
Working within regulatory and legislative requirements, our primary aim is to deliver an unrivalled customer experience and ensure our customers are at the heart of everything that we do. The team play a vital role in keeping customers up to date through every step of their journey with us, offering a great customer experience to support our ambition in being industry leading in customer experience measures C-MeX and D-MeX.
The successful candidate will be resilient, have proven experience of managing multiple demands and prioritising effectively in a reactive environment, great communication skills, and being able to exchange information clearly and concisely is an essential part of this role.
You’ll be a strong team player with experience of building strong productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven experience of delivering and driving great customer service throughout your professional career is essential. Knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks Act would be advantageous and having worked in the utilities industry would also be beneficial.
