£35,073 up to £43,842

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Intelligence & Analytics team as a Performance Insights Analyst.

Reporting to the Performance Insights Coordinator, you will be responsible for enabling our organisation to make better decisions through the provision of data-driven insights.

You will provide an effective analytics service to our internal and external customers by maintaining existing solutions and being innovative in the design, development and delivery of new intelligence products that support delivery against our priority performance metrics.

To do this, you will need to demonstrate excellent technical and analytic skills and understanding, with a proven track record in effective data ETL and developing Business Intelligence and/or Data Science solutions using recognised technologies and platforms (e.g. Azure; Oracle; Power BI).

With a focus on ensuring robust data sourcing and quality, you will undertake rigorous data analysis to interpret data and communicate the resulting insights. You will empower others within the organisation to maximise the use of our data through clear dashboard visualisation and the automation of reporting processes.

Effective communication is key to the role’s success, requiring demonstration of excellent verbal, written and data story-telling skills, all whilst working collaboratively successfully with colleagues and business stakeholders.

About you

As the discipline of data analytics evolves continuously, you will demonstrate a strong foundation of advanced analytic skills, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and the upskilling of others. You will have substantial prior experience of interpreting and analysing complex data/ information from multiple, diverse sources.

You will have demonstrable, proven experience of using relevant analytics platforms, tools and technologies to design and deliver analytic solutions, alongside a good awareness of management information, business intelligence, and data science practices and principle.

You will be used to working as part of cross-functional, DevOps teams and will be familiar with agile product development, demonstrating the ability to collaborate well with a range of internal customers and partner organisations. Alongside this, you will be comfortable working independently to develop analytics and be highly self-motivated in this regard.

As you will be managing stakeholders at all levels it is important you have excellent communication skills, including experience of persuasion and influencing to demonstrate the value of analytics to improving business outcomes.
