Park Assistant – Maintenance - Plumber

Full time – 37 hours per week

Permanent

Salary – up to £18,370

Location – Kielder Waterside

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a Park Assistant – Maintenance to join our busy team in Kielder. The Key aspects of this role will be to provide support to both commercial activities and passive recreational pursuits, with a dual aim of maximizing profitability and enhancement of the company’s image and reputation through the provision of a high standard of customer service.

The successful candidate will help deliver high quality maintenance activities across the site however, we are looking for the candidates to specialise in all aspects of maintenance but could be called upon to help out with anything across the site. Although, you will need to be adaptable to most aspects of maintenance work.

Additionally the successful candidate will get the opportunity to specialise in plumbing and will give them the opportunity to not only assist in the onsite plumbing of our Facilities, shadowing one our Maintenance Technicians but will also give them the opportunity to do extensive training in professional qualifications.

The role will involve completing work on maintenance schedules, reactive work programs, undertaking regular inspection and monitoring programs for fixed and mobile assets.

About you

Proven experience of working within a customer focused environment is not essential but is desirable, you will be dealing with our guests on a regular basis. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and be willing to work unsocial hours.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a hospitality or visitor services environment and have proven practical skills that cover all aspects of maintenance work and repairs.
