Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £28k with company van + attend out of hours & weekend maintenance

We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, amongst others we are working on the IMT Contract, and we're looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Telecoms team in Kent.

What you'll be doing:

As a focused and trusted Multi-Skilled Technician, in this dynamic and exciting role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of planned & reactive repair and maintenance services to all elements of the telecommunication cell site infrastructure on a full-time basis:

  • Carry out reactive/preventative maintenance checks and works
  • General fabric maintenance (locks, fence repairs, access issues, high-level fabric works)
  • Planned - Undertaking supplementary repairs on cell site installations
  • Reactive - Undertaking repair works on an ad-hoc basis covering fabric disciplines
  • Clearance - Undertaking site clearance works including, but not limited to, vegetation, rubbish/debris, and vermin (pigeons).
  • Call Out - Participating in the 24hr, 365-day on-call/standby rota
  • Fire & Intruder - Carrying out planned and reactive works to fire and intruder system panels
  • Surveys - Carrying out site surveys and undertaking joint meetings as requested
  • Ensure that all tasks are carried out safety and in line with safe operating procedures
  • Fulfil requirements of certain building fabric services by assisting in planned and reactive maintenance as provided to the agreed standard
  • On-the-job of training and certificates

    We are seeking candidates who:
  • C&G 2382-18 18th Edition Course - Essential
  • Full UK Drivers Licence - Essential
  • Drive & Enthusiasm

    Please note that a DBS / CRB check and clearance will be required for this role and there maybe periods where you would be required to stay away for part of the working week dependant on operational demand.
