The ScottishPower Renewables Onshore Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team are responsible for safe operation and maintenance of all physical assets which are located throughout the UK and Ireland. 

With over 2GW and a growing Onshore wind capacity, a rapidly growing Solar and BESS asset base, there is an opportunity to hold a leading part in how we evolve our quality approach to maintenance quality management.

Responsibilities

Working with the Head of Technical Operations & Projects, and others, within the O&M Management Team, you will develop and implement comprehensive and sustainable maintenance management quality policies, processes and systems in alignment with OEM manuals, industry best practice and statutory requirements.

Developing, implementing and managing Preventative Maintenance scopes and schedules for WTG's, BESS and Solar PV, including sub-systems and associated Balance of Plant, you will hold responsibility for defining maintenance scopes and implementing associated maintenance schedules with supporting documentation, which also includes revision management.

Updating maintenance strategies and schedules, taking into account legislative and regulatory changes as well as operating experiences and integration of design modification change management, you will work with Technical Operations & Projects' and Field Operations' teams to develop and maintain a system of preventative maintenance quality management for assets under the control of Onshore O&M.

Implementing, managing and maintaining a robust quality management system of maintenance activities, equipment histories and documentation related to compliance inspections, maintenance schedules and work orders across onshore assets, you will take responsibility for the input into Service & Maintenance contract specifications which will include scope and tender reviews of submissions, ensuring Asset Management and Preventative Maintenance scopes are achieved.

Working with internal and external stakeholder groups, you will ensure adoption of good engineering practice, leveraging experience across the wider Iberdrola business in the approach to maintenance quality management.

This position will require periods where you will be mobile across operational sites throughout the UK and Ireland as required.

What you'll bring

Degree qualified in a Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation and Control or related subject (relevant experience will also be considered in lieu of academic qualifications), you will possess in-depth experience of wind turbine generator systems or equivalent industrial power generation rotating plant.

With experience in Maintenance Quality Management from an industrial setting, you will be IT literate with the ability to operate MS office systems and other IT based project and risk management software.

Knowledgeable and experienced in Health, Safety and Environmental legislation associated with heavy engineering projects, you will be an excellent communicator, with good interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Due to nature of this post, you are required to hold a full UK driving license and an ability to work at heights.
