Job Purpose

 

Provide proactive leadership to improve performance of pressure and leakage teams, ensuring network operability, effective pressure management, and meeting leakage targets. Oversee analysis, planning, and promotion of leakage work with a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and efficiency. Manage the Leakage team, including Analysts and Technicians, and take on regional responsibility for an additional team or strategic project.

 

 

 

Job Accountabilities

 
  • Work collaboratively with other area-based Leakage Optimisation Managers to implement approved strategies to meet regional operability, pressure and leakage targets
  •            
  • Work closely with the Network Performance, Customer and Network Managers to meet customer, operational, financial, and regulatory performance targets.
  •            
  • Manage the leakage contract, ensuring effectiveness and productivity in line with contractual obligations.
  •            
  • Manage associated Opex and Capex leakage budgets, maximising opportunities to control costs and maintain effectiveness of our people and partners.
  •            
  • Ensure the safety of employees and contractors by meeting all relevant safety standards and assisting in the development and delivery of Safety Health Improvement Plans
  •            
  • Own the area succession plan and be responsible for employee training and development.
  •            
  • Provide arbitration to the Private Leakage Repair and Defective Fittings processes when required.
