To succeed, we require a Lead Asset Risk Engineer who shares our passion for creating a cleaner, greener future. Your role in our Asset Strategy team is to set our long-term asset management strategies, asset policies and intervention plans for transmission assets.

Developing our strategic long-term asset risk plans for the Transmission network, effectively communicating with the transmission licence whilst translating and managing the ongoing transmission business plan, we require you to take responsibility for the ongoing development of maintenance and condition assessment strategies for Transmission substation, linear assets and protection and control equipment, ensuring maximum asset availability and consistency with industry best practice.

This calls for considerable experience. You will be educated to degree standard in Electrical Engineering with Chartered membership of the IET (or equivalent) and possess expert knowledge of the transmission network and its unique and complex technical challenges. Utilising your specialist knowledge of transmission primary or secondary systems, you will display your expert industry health and safety awareness.
