Anglian Water has embraced hybrid working in the longer-term, meaning you will initially work remotely 4-5 days a week. When we return to normal office life, you'll be expected to commute to head office in Huntingdon 1-2 times a week and there may be occasional travel to other sites.

Have you got what it takes to keep communication flowing?

Come and join our fast-paced Internal Comms team and develop your potential. Here at Anglian Water, we believe in doing the right thing by communicating openly and honestly with our colleagues. We're always exploring how to create engaging colleague communications for programmes, projects and activities to keep colleagues and partners informed and help build trust across our organisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Comms Executive to join the team and help us deliver wide-ranging internal communications materials across Anglian Water and our alliance partners.

With your natural communication style and a keen eye for detail, you'll be tasked with updating the company's intranet pages and news hub with dynamic content. As well as this, you'll be able to get creative by generating stimulating content such as video, photography and other digital assets, as well as writing engaging copy for use across multiple channels.

What you'll bring to the role:

The ideal candidate will be tech savvy with:

  • Heaps of passion, and experience working in communications (ideally internal communications)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience in relationship building and stakeholder engagement

  • The ability to thrive working in a fast-paced environment

  • An understanding of what makes good content, how to create and curate it

  • An explorer mindset - to help us find new ways to be at our best while supporting Anglian Water's brand

It would also be desirable if you have experience working with colleagues in operational roles. And we'd love it if you have photo/video editing skills, but training can be provided.

As a valued employee, you'll benefit from:

  • Joining a personal, supportive, and flexible team

  • Personal private health care

  • 23 days annual leave - rising with length of service

  • Flexible working

  • Competitive pension scheme - Anglian Water double-matches your contributions up to 6%

  • Bonus scheme

  • Flexible benefits to support your wellbeing and lifestyle
