We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to deliver a professional, HR service across the employee life cycle. In the role, you will be working as part of a proactive, innovative and responsive HR delivery team to provide pragmatic, creative and business focused HR solutions and recommendations. You will be building and developing relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide support and guidance on a range of HR matters and share best practice.

We've split the team to ensure that your role has a great degree of autonomy. Working alongside the HR Business Partner for your defined area of the business, you will be the lead on all ER work. Stakeholders around the business will come to you when they need HR assistance. Your responses will be consultative, informing rather than doing, teaching rather than telling. We are not a transactional department; we add value to managers and employees by helping them through ER processes. This is an ER heavy role but that doesn't mean you won't get to work on projects, we have plenty of them as we transform the way we operate as a company.

Got what it takes?

We are looking for somebody who is either full or part CIPD qualified with experience within an HR position. You will also have proven experience advising on sensitive and complex ER cases with a depth of experience across the full generalist HR spectrum. Experience of working in an HR position within a unionised environment would be advantageous but not essential.
