Field Performance Manager

Location: Field Based covering areas such as: Peterborough, Boston, Grantham, Spalding and South Lincoln

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £34k + Benefits + Car Allowance

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader/Supervisor looking for their next opportunity to develop their managerial & leadership experience within the utilities/construction industry. Your role will involve managing the day-to-day IMDS operations across a number of programmes within a geographical area. Performance managing your team, sharing best practice through coaching and continuous improvement ensuring your team are working safely at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the scheduling team to ensure work is undertaken in accordance with the plan. Challenge the plan where appropriate.

  • Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas.

  • Ensure team administration is accurate and current (e.g., PUWER, risk assessments, vehicle defect reports, near miss reporting etc.).

  • Ensure all waterworks materials are managed and that all meter stock is fully accounted for.

  • Investigate customer complaints and quality issues and facilitate resolution.

  • Manage direct reports ensuring compliance with home organisations policies (including active involvement in timekeeping, absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, development).

  • Implementing, monitoring and achieving targets for health & safety, quality and customer satisfaction through your field teams.

  • Liaising with internal & external stakeholders to ensure operational risk is managed effectively.

  • Ensuring an efficient execution of work in a cost effective and productive manner in accordance with IMDS objectives.

  • Providing operational & technical support to prevent and proactively manage any event or incident.

  • Chair monthly team meetings to deliver key messages and share & promote best practice across IMDS.

  • Carry out constructive performance reviews with you team.

  • Provide feedback and coaching with team members.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

You will be an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor with a good all-round knowledge and understanding of the construction & water industries. You will have exposure or experience of the following attributes:

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Ability to confidently manage stakeholder engagement/customer service.

IOSH Managing Safety or CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme.

A demonstrable working knowledge of the Streetworks & Traffic Management acts.

NRSWA Supervisor qualification is highly desirable.

Full & valid Driver's License is essential.

Water regulations qualification is desirable.

The ability to interpret data and drive actions based on your findings.
