Description
With responsibility for all JE Facilities, provide a proactive and efficient service with a smile.
Delivery allied to all JE premises ensuring both capital and reactive projects are delivered, and all facilities are well maintained to current legislative and HS&E standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Project Management of all Capital and Reactive Works delivering to annual plan
Conduct Cost/ Analysis of all Capital and Reactive works ensuring best value
Provide regular reports and update on activities highlighting risks to delivery against plan
Collaborate towards the annual facilities management budget and business cases for capital and reactive works including evaluation and subsequent recommendations for resolution
Plan for future development of facilities in line with Strategic business objectives
Ensure all project delivery meets existing legislative requirements including all HS&E aspects
Ensure that buildings meet health & safety requirements and that all JE facilities comply with existing legislation
Direct and co-ordinate all third-party contractors with the delivery of essential services including but not limited to, site security, general maintenance, mail, cleaning and waste disposal
Effectively manage all third-party contractors dispensing performance management techniques where required
Respond appropriately to emergencies (including out of hours) or urgent issues as they arise ensuring effective communication to relevant parties and that appropriate plans and policies are developed to prevent future instances
Sign off of works by third party contractors is satisfactory and meets with project scope
Ensure that out of hours cover is in place and roles and responsibilities are understood and communicated to relevant stakeholders

Previous experience of Facilities Management role in a similar or related industry sector is desirable
HND in Facilities / Building Services is desirable or equivalent vocational experience of building management, construction, facilities management, management, property would be advantageous
