Job Description

Affinity Water has a fantastic career development opportunity on a 9 month fixed term contract to join our Environmental Performance and Insight Team as an Environmental Performance Analyst.

Affinity Water is committed to leaving the environment in a sustainable and measurably improved state. We measure, track and report our environmental performance. The Environmental Performance Analyst collates and analyses our environmental performance data and provides performance insights.

The role:

You will be working closely with the Environment Performance and Insight Lead, helping to ensure we accurately assess and report environmental performance. This includes helping to set and then measure a series of lead and lag KPIs used to assess company performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collation and validation of the data which is used to assess environmental performance with a focus on regulatory performance commitments.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely internal reporting of environmental performance metrics.
  • Working with colleagues to implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide administrative support to our internal governance structures which oversee environmental performance.

Essential Qualifications and experience required:

  • Experience in data collation, validation and analysis.
  • Proficient and influential communicator.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Member of / affiliation to an environment management
    body is desirable but not essential.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on skills & experience)
  • Hours of work: Operational - 08:30am - 17:00pm (Monday - Thursday) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
