Engagement and Communications Manager
As an Engagement and Communications Manager, your role will be to proactively identify opportunities to improve the experience for our colleagues. You'll also be delivering effective communication campaigns that improve the engagement and productivity of our people.
Working with HR and business teams, you'll provide specialist support to engage our colleagues, growing awareness and appreciation of critical messages across the business.
You will be aligned to specific business areas, but where needed, you will need to be flexible and support on cross functional and Group wide initiatives.
Occasional travel will be necessary to our Windsor and London offices.
Assist the Colleague Experience Director, and Senior Engagement and Communication Managers to deliver the colleague experience plan
Work closely with the Senior Engagement and Communications Managers in the Group communications team to ensure localised communications are sequenced alongside Group wide initiatives
Be part of a virtual team to define engagement and communication needs, and deliver the necessary campaigns across the organisation, increasing employee engagement and individual performance
Manage a range of stakeholder relationships across your business area, being an ambassador for the engagement and communication strategy
Assist the delivery of communication and engagement campaigns, ensuring they deliver improvements to the overall experience of our colleagues
Use data and insight to understand the impact of our communication and engagement campaigns, and continually improve the quality of our communications
A record of assisting business teams to develop and deploy engagement and communication campaigns
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrable experience of writing communications materials
A proven collaborator with the ability to influence
Confident managing stakeholders of varying levels
A motivated self-starter who can work on their own initiative
Ability to deliver projects to time and quality standards
Comfortable using data to drive insight and decision making
Assured in creating content for and updating intranet sites, group email systems (e.g. Poppulo) and other internal communications channels would be advantageous
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) in the field of internal communications would be advantageous
