Electrician

We're looking for Electricians to join our South West Water based in Hatherleigh

Location: Hatherleigh, Okehampton

Contract: Permanent- full time

Salary: £14.25 - £18.50 per hour, plus opportunities to earn standby & overtime

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrician, you'll be working within the South West Water team, supporting them in installing, modifying and commissioning water industry equipment such as pumps, motors and water quality instrumentation all to relevant industry and technical standards

Your day to day will include:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on systems and plant
• Creating reports and liaising with client and company management where necessary
• Carry out full NICEIC testing of newly installed and legacy equipment as per BS7671

What are we looking for?

This role of Electrician is great for you if:

• Electrical Apprenticeships e.g. City and Guilds, EAL
• Relevant electrical testing qualification such as 2391
• Knowledge and experience of working on industrial and control applications, with ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams
