About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Directorate as a Customer Collections Advisor. We are seeking experience in building effective relationships with our customers, including organisations such as the county courts and debt recovery specialists. Therefore you will be able to identify vulnerable customers and promote the right support.

In addition you will be responsible for collecting outstanding payments, offering advice on the payment options available and negotiating payment arrangements. Reporting to the Team Supervisor, you will champion industry leading service.

You’ll also create letters and court correspondence in order to seek a positive resolution. You’ll also be responsible for supporting contact centre and arrears during high call volumes, promote the most suitable support.

About you

You’ll have proven communication skills whereby you will champion taking ownership and responsibility to meet the needs of our customers. You will be solution focused and demonstrate the ability to problem solve first using first class numerical skills.

Attention to detail is key to this role so you will have proven experience in this area. You’ll be flexible to the needs of the department and have excellent time management skills in order to manage a varied workload. You’ll also demonstrate a one team culture.

You will be self-motivated and have proving experience in meeting targets and tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment
