About the role: 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Centre Senior Administrator to join our East of England network on a 6month fixed term contract basis. 

 

As a Customer Centre Senior Administrator it will be your role to support with driving and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction across all work-types. You will also ensure customer interactions are managed effectively and appropriately, ensuring concerns are dealt with in a timely manner.

 

This role would greatly suit somebody who thrives on customer satisfaction and who enjoys seeking out new ways of working in order to improve current processes. 

What you'll get to work on:

  • Managing customer telephone contact for the core query resolution
  • Operating office systems and equipment, processing documents and maintaining accurate performance information
  • Resolving both enquiries and complaints from internal and external parties, liaising with different stakeholders to ensure satisfactory resolution of customer concerns across all work-types
  • Supporting the team leader with workload co-ordination and reporting activities across the team
  • Ensuring the input of accurate data into spreadsheets, databases and other business systems
  • Taking ownership of the customer relationship from initial contact through to resolution - ensuring the customer is kept updated and providing outstanding levels of service
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence by adhering to agreed standard operating procedures and making suggestions for improvement

Who are we looking for:

  • Call handling and/or previous contact centre experience
  • An understanding of gas distribution activities / processes
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Computer literacy essential, basic level Microsoft package skills
