Contract Supervisor
Salary – £33,613 to £42,016 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 hours per week, 7.00am to 4.00pm
Location Postcode – PR26 7QR
As a Contract Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will be predominantly mobile role supervising and monitoring the collection service (Dry Mixed Recycling/Green Paper Waste/Residual Waste) ensuring that all staff are fully compliant with current legislation, Health and Safety at Work Act, Environmental Protection Act and The Road Traffic Act.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Supervise operatives on the Collections Services of Chorley Council
- Deliver team briefings monthly
- Ensure all Gate Checks and Spot Checks for all environmental service vehicles are carried out
- Monitor Health and Safety
- Carry out periodic driving licence checks
- Carry out contractor control
- Prepare and issue RTW
- Chair disciplinary meetings where required
- Carry out job interviews where required
- Carry out joint visits with client
- Ensure training for the workforce is delivered in line with individual training requirements
- Open and close the Depot where required
- Carry out Emergency drills
