Job Description

We're looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our Regional Civils team based in Exeter.

Location: Exeter or Bridgwater - hybrid working available, with travel across the South West required

Contract: Permanent, full time - flexible hours available if desired, just let us know

What will you be responsible for?

As a Commercial Administrator, you'll be working within our Environment Agency Collaborative delivery framework and Bridgwater Tidal Barrier projects, supporting the commercial team and wider project team.

Your day to day will include:

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of commercial and related finance processes.
  • Liaison with site commercial teams to ensure Subcontractor payments and client invoices are processed and tracking of both.
  • Some involvement with the GRN receipt of delivery notes, goods received records and the on/off hiring of plant and equipment with others.
  • Assist in maintaining commercial reports, logs and trackers to ensure good record keeping.
  • Assist site commercial teams and finance in monthly cost reporting and liabilities, chasing payments and cash if required and providing back up and records for client information.

What are we looking for?

This role of Commercial Administrator is great for you if:

  • You have previous experience in administrative or finance department.
  • You are willing to travel across the South West and are able to establish strong relationships with site teams.
  • You are proficient in standard office applications, particularly MS Excel.
