Job Title - Collections Team Leader
Salary - Up to £29,000 plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Location - Padworth Lane, Lower Padworth, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 4JF
Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including Bank Holidays where operationally required and or Saturdays as required
At Veolia, the Collections Team Leader assists the supervisors and management team to achieve the delivery of the waste collections service and ensure operatives are supported and coached as much as possible. The Collections Team Leader will manage the training of staff and liaise with client waste officers daily.
We’re looking for someone who has a strong team working skills and team leadership skills. If you enjoy problem-solving, have a flexible working approach, enjoy working with people and have good communication skills, we’d like to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Main duties will include:

Ensure Health and Safety is maintained on-site at all times.

Liaise with other Veolia departments to ensure a high level of service.

Assist in the management of sickness/absence levels.

Ensure the fleet is kept clean and tidy daily and any incidents or damages are reported.

Liaise with the supervisor to provide any additional training requirements for staff to further their careers and personal development.
