Civils Sub-Agent

We are looking for a Civils Sub Agent to join our Natural Resources team based close to our sites in Reading.

Location: within commutable distance to our sites in the Reading region - presence on site will be required but remote working may be available when possible

Contract: Permanent, full-time position - flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

Responsibilities

As the Civils Sub Agent you'll join Kier who are a strategic partner to Thames Water Capital Frameworks across the Thames Water supply and treatment regions. Delivered by our Utilities and Infrastructure team who make up the Kier Natural Resources business unit, we deliver design & build services for new and existing Infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-Infrastructure assets (above ground).

Your day to day will include:

• Site Incident management and escalation within prescribed timescales, along with implementation and monitoring of SHE policies and procedures for both direct and supply chain workforce
• Plan and measure day to day work activities for effective utilisation of direct and supply chain resources to meet short-term and contract programme milestones
• Assistant with commercial forecasting on your schemes, ensuring robust control of actual costs, participate in forecast reviews, final cost & value review with commercial team
• Identify opportunities to increase value through effective change management, ensuring Instructions are received and processed to realise a change to Target Cost as applicable.

What are we looking for?

This role of Sub-Agent is great for you if you have:

• Industry experience working in capital projects
• 5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate
• Hold full UK Driving Licence
