Kier Professional Services (KPS) are an exclusive in-house consultant, providing expert advice to support understanding and resolution of technical project issues in temporary and permanent works. KPS are able to quickly mobilise resources to support project delivery and consistently deliver a dependable design service for buildability and safety.

We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as High Speed 2, Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a CAD Technician to join our Kier Professional Services team in Birmingham to contribute to the delivery of a broad range of complex Civil and Structural and related services in both temporary and permanent works.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting CAD Technician role, you'll be responsible for production of a broad range of Civil & Structural services in both Temporary and Permanent Works. Services will include 2D CAD Drawings for tender and project delivery both above and below ground focussed on buildability, efficiency, and innovation; enabling cost estimates to be developed. Knowledge of Civil 3D and intelligent BIM modelling would also be advantageous.

What do we need from you?

You'll have 5 years of relevant post-educational experience and be a holder of valid CSCS card. This role also requires to be a holder of a full, clean UK driving license.
