Key Responsibilities
The cable jointer's role involves working on service, LV and HV cables on the NPG network. The work is predominantly outdoors. Work includes excavating ground works and cable installation ranging from service cables to High voltage cables and assisting with new connections. The successful candidate will become a mentor in learning and development of apprentices
Maintain a high level of safety for all colleagues and members of the public while upholding Northern Powergrid beliefs.

Qualifications and Attributes
•City & Guilds 2320 or equivalent
•Completion of 3-year apprenticeship
•Previous jointing experience (with DNO)
